PassGens is a free, browser-based tool that generates random usernames and passwords, and analyses the strength of passwords you provide. All processing happens locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript — no data is transmitted to or stored on any server.
You may use PassGens and any passwords or usernames it generates for any lawful personal or commercial purpose, free of charge. There is no limit on usage and no account is required.

PassGens is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While PassGens uses cryptographically secure randomness for password generation, we do not guarantee that any generated password is suitable for every use case, and you are responsible for evaluating whether a password meets the requirements of the account or system you're using it for.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PassGens and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this service — including but not limited to loss of data, unauthorised account access, or security incidents.
PassGens is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Use of the site is subject to Google's own terms and privacy practices regarding ad delivery. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from use of this site shall be resolved in accordance with that law.
